The Divine Calling

A prophet of God must receive his/her calling and gifts from God, not by being anointed by another prophet or by other ungodly spiritual means, such as being initiated into a secret cult (Ephesians4:11). There are preachers in Nigeria, Ghana, South Africa and the United States who received their ability to “prophesy” by initiating themselves into the Brotherhood of the Cross and Star headed by Olumba Olumba Obu, and others are going to TB Joshua and other spiritualists for “spiritual impartation” some even go as far as literally offering human sacrifices to obtain the ability to draw large crowds in their church, don’t expect the guilty one’s to admit this- I’m telling what I have first hand knowledge of. However, God said to prophet Jeremiah “before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I ordained you as a prophet to the nations (Jeremiah1:5). Paul who was a devoted follower of Jesus Christ said that his call to be “a sent one”  did not come from any man or by religious committee, but from Jesus Christ and God the Father, who raised him from death (Galatians1:1). What Paul means is that no bishop or council of religious leaders poured oil on his head to make him an apostle with the prophetic gift, His calling and commissioning came directly from God. Prophets are called by God, a spiritualist cannot make you a true prophet, they can only turn you into a witch/wizard.

  1. Wow! Very educational and enlightening. I ready to learn the truths of God and no longer want to walk in darkness. Anything that is a lie, that has been doctored by man I want nothing to do with, I want to worship God in truth and in Spirit. Thanks for writing this post.
