The Replacement Theology teaches that the gentile church has replaced Israel as the original plan of Yah, it teaches that the Jews are no longer God’s chosen people because the Christian Church has now succeeded them.  Supersessionism also emphasizes that “the grace” has replaced the Law of Moses and the promises and prominent positions once held by the Jews have been fully transferred to the gentile Christians, and that God is finished with the Jews no longer referring to them as His chosen people. The main goal of the replacement theology is to erase everything Jewish in the bible and replace them with something of pagan origin to make the whole world embrace a false religion. This destructive doctrine started with the early gentile Christian “church fathers”.

 

* “God’s covenant with Israel was no longer valid and that the Gentiles had replaced the Jews…. the Church is the true spiritual Israel. (Justin Martyr -100-106 AD)

 * The people [the Jews] was precious before the church arose, and the law was marvelous before the gospel was elucidated. But when the church arose and the gospel took precedence, the model was made void, conceding its power to the reality…The people [Israel] was made void when the church arose. (Melito of Sardis, On Pascha, translation)

 * “the house of Jacob and the people of Israel are disinherited from the grace of God…. they have rejected the Son of God” and “they slew Him.” (Irenaeus 130-202 AD)

 * “Their[Jews] rejection of Jesus has resulted in their present calamity and exile. We say with confidence that they will never be restored to their former condition. For they have committed a crime of the most unhallowed kind, in conspiring against the savior.”  (Adamantius Origen-185- 254)

 * “The promises of Scripture were meant for the Gentiles and the curses were meant for the Jews. Asserted that the Church was the “true Israel.” (Eusebius 275-339 AD)

 *  “Jews are a perverse people, accursed by God forever.” (St. Hilary of Poitiers)

 * “The Jews were no longer the chosen people, but were “the devil’s people.” They were “base, whoring people, that is, no people of God, and their boast of lineage, circumcision, and law must be accounted as filth.” The synagogue was a “defiled bride, yes, an incorrigible whore and an evil slut …” and Jews were full of the “devil’s feces (Martin Luther)

 The Christian church fathers have succeeded in establishing the replacement theology, however what does the word of God say about God’s covenant with Israel?

• And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations FOR AN EVERLASTING COVENANT, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee. (Genesis 17:7)

 

•  “Yet despite this, when they [Jews] are in the land of their enemies, I will not reject them or abhor them to destroy them completely, breaking my covenant with them. I am the Lord their God. But for their sake I will remember the covenant with their ancestors whom I brought out of Egypt in the sight of the nations to be their God. I am the Lord.’” These are the decrees, the laws and the regulations that the Lord established at Mount Sinai between himself and the Israelites through Moses.”  (Leviticus 26:44-46).

 

• With a little wrath, I hid My face from you for a moment; but with everlasting kindness I will have mercy on you,” says the Lord, your Redeemer. “This is like the waters of Noah to Me; for as I have sworn that the waters of Noah would no longer cover the earth, so have I sworn that I would not be angry with you, nor rebuke you. The mountains shall depart and the hills be removed, but My kindness shall not depart from you, nor shall My covenant of peace be removed,” says the Lord, who has mercy on you.  (Isaiah 54:8-10)

 

• Thus says the Lord, Who gives the sun for light by day and the fixed order of the moon and the stars for light by night, Who stirs up the sea so that its waves roar – the Lord of hosts is His name: If this fixed order were ever to cease from My presence, says the Lord, then also the offspring of Israel would cease to be a nation before Me forever. Thus says the Lord: If the heavens above can be measured, and the foundations of the earth below can be explored, then I will reject all the offspring of Israel because of all they have done. (Jeremiah 31:35-36)

 

The above scriptures indicate that God said He will never reject Israel, because of the covenant He made their fathers. For “God is not a human who lies or a mortal who changes his mind. When he says something, he will do it; when he makes a promise, he will fulfill it (Numbers 23:19). It is a pity that Christians of all ages have been negatively influenced by the so-called replacement theology which tends to silence Judaism. The damaging effect of replacement theology can be seen on the writings of the early Christian apologists, reformers, preachers, and teachers. The “Church fathers” were deceived and were used by the antichrist to wage war against the Jews and their faith in God. Below are citations extracted from early gentile Christian writings-  YOU  JUDGE whether the so-called church fathers and their successors wrote by the Spirit of the Lord Yehoshua, who commanded that we should love the Jews:

 

• John Chrysostom: The [Jewish] synagogue is worse than a brothel…it is the den of scoundrels and the repair of wild beasts…the temple of demons devoted to idolatrous cults…the refuge of brigands and dabauchees, and the cavern of devils. It is a criminal assembly of Jews…a place of meeting for the assassins of Christ… a house worse than a drinking shop…a den of thieves, a house of ill fame, a dwelling of iniquity, the refuge of devils, a gulf and a abyss of perdition.”…”I would say the same things about their souls… As for me, I hate the synagogue…I hate the Jews for the same reason.

 “I know that many people hold a high regard for the Jews and consider their way of life worthy of respect at the present time… This is why I am hurrying to pull up this fatal notion by the roots … A place where a whore stands on display is a whorehouse. What is more, the synagogue is not only a whorehouse and a theater; it is also a den of thieves and a haunt of wild animals … not the cave of a wild animal merely, but of an unclean wild animal … When animals are unfit for work, they are marked for slaughter, and this is the very thing which the Jews have experienced. By making themselves unfit for work, they have become ready for slaughter. This is why Christ said: “ask for my enemies, who did not want me to reign over them, bring them and slay them before me’ (Luke 19.27).” 

 

• St. Augustine: “Judaism is a corruption. Indeed, Judas is the image of the Jewish people. Their understanding of the Scriptures is carnal. They bear the guilt for the death of the savior, for through their fathers they have killed the Christ.” 

 

•  St. Thomas Aquinas: “It would be licit to hold Jews, because of the crimes, in perpetual servitude, and therefore the princes may regard the possessions of Jews as belonging to the State.” 

 

•  St. Peter the Venerable: Yes, you Jews. I say, do I address you; you, who till this very day, deny the Son of God. How long, poor wretches, will ye not believe the truth? Truly I doubt whether a Jew can be really human… I lead out from its den a monstrous animal, and show it as a laughing stock in the amphitheater of the world, in the sight of all the people. I bring thee forward, thou Jew, thou brute beast, in the sight of all men.
• St. Gregory of Nicia: “The Jews are a brood of vipers, haters of goodness.”

 

• St. Jerome: “[Jews] are serpents, wearing the image of Judas, their psalms and prayers are the braying of Donkeys.”

 

• John Calvin: Their [the Jews] rotten and unbending stiffneckedness deserves that they be oppressed unendingly and without measure or end and that they die in their misery without the pity of anyone. (A Response to Questions and Objections of a Certain Jew)

 

• Martin Luther:  “Know, adored Christ, and make no mistake, that aside from the Devil, you have no enemy more venomous, more desperate, more bitter, than a true Jew who truly seeks to be a Jew… a Jew, a Jewish heart, are hard as wood, as stone, as iron, as the Devil himself. In short, they are children of the Devil, condemned to the flames of hell.” 

 “O Lord, I am too feeble to mock such devils. I would do so, but they are much stronger than I in raillery, and they have a God who is a past master in this art; He is called the devil and the wicked spirit.. They have transformed God into the devil, or rather into a servant of the Devil, accomplishing all the evil the Devil desires, corrupting unhappy souls , and raging against himself: in short, the Jews are worse than the devils.” 

“What then shall we Christians do with this damned, rejected race of Jews? First, their synagogues should be set on fire, and whatever does not burn up should be covered or spread over with dirt so that no one may ever be able to see a cinder or stone of it. And this ought to be done for the honour of God and of Christianity, in order that God may see that we are true Christians. Secondly, their homes should be likewise broken down and destroyed. Thirdly, they should be deprived of their prayerbooks and talmuds in which such idolatry, lies, cursing and blasphemy are taught. Fourthly, their rabbis must be forbidden under threats of death to teach anymore.” 

 “Now whoever wishes to accept venomous serpents, desperate enemies of the lord, and to honor them, to let himself be robbed, pillaged, corrupted and cursed by them, need only turn to the Jews. If this is not enough for him, he can do more: crawl up into their…… and worship the sanctuary, so as to glorify himself afterwards for having been merciful, for having fortified the Devil and his children, in order to blaspheme our beloved lord and the precious blood that has redeemed us. He will then be a perfect Christian, filled with works of mercy, for which Christ will reward him on the-day of judgment with the eternal fire of hell (where he will roast together with the Jews).” 

“In truth, the Jews, being foreigners, should possess nothing, and what they do possess should be ours.” 

“If I find a Jew to baptize, I shall lead him to the Elbe bridge, hang a stone around his neck, and push him into the water, baptizing him with the name of Avraham!.. I cannot convert the Jews. Our lord Christ did not succeed in doing so; but I can close their mouths so that there will be nothing for them to do but to lie upon the ground.” 

 “I hope I shall never be so stupid as to be circumcised; I would rather cut off the left breast of my Catherine and of all women.” 

  “If we are to remain unsullied by the blasphemy of the Jews and not wish to take part in it, we must be separated from them and they must be driven out of their country.” 

 What shall we Christians do with this rejected and condemned people, the Jews? Since they live among us, we dare not tolerate their conduct, now that we are aware of their lying and reviling and blaspheming.

 If we do, we become sharers in their lies, cursing and blasphemy….

 First, to set fire to their synagogues or schools and to bury and cover with dirt whatever will not burn, so that no man will ever again see a stone or cinder of them. This is to be done in honor of our Lord and of Christendom, so that God might see that we are Christians, and do not condone or knowingly tolerate such public lying, cursing, and blaspheming of his Son and of his Christians….

 Second, I advise that their houses also be razed and destroyed. For they pursue in them the same aims as in their synagogues. Instead they might be lodged under a roof or in a barn, like the gypsies. This will bring home to them the fact that they are not masters in our country, as they boast, but that they are living in exile and in captivity, as they incessantly wail and lament about us before God….

 Third, I advise that all their prayer books and Talmudic writings, in which such idolatry, lies, cursing, and blasphemy are taught, be taken from them…

 Fourth, I advise that their rabbis be forbidden to teach henceforth on pain of loss of life and limb…

Fifth, I advise that safe-conduct on the highways be abolished completely for the Jews. For they have no business in the countryside, since they are not lords, officials, tradesmen, or the like. Let them stay at home…

Sixth, I advise that usury be prohibited to them, and that all cash and treasure of silver and gold be taken from them and put aside for safekeeping…

Seventh, I recommend putting a flail, an ax, a hoe, a spade, a distaff, or a spindle into the hands of young, strong Jews and Jewesses and letting them earn their bread in the sweat of their brow, as was imposed on the children of Adam (Gen. 3 :19). Martin Luther – “The Jews & Their Lies”(1543)

 

 

Martin Luther advised setting Jewish synagogues on fire, destroying Jewish prayer books, forbidding rabbis from preaching, seizing Jews’ property and money, smashing up their homes, and ensuring that these “poisonous envenomed worms” be forced into labor or expelled “for all time.” Luther also gave his approval to the kill all of the Jews; “We are at fault in not slaying them.” There is no doubt, the great Christian leader Martin Luther greatly influenced Adolph Hitler who destroyed six million Jewish converts, we all know that the original Hebrews were [are]black. In the book, Mein Kampf (My Struggle) which is autobiographical book by Adolf Hitler published in 1925, Hitler referred Martin Luther as “a great man, a giant, true statesmen, and a great reformer:

 

• Martin Luther has been the greatest encouragement of my life. Luther was a great man. He was a giant. With one blow, he heralded the coming of the new dawn and the new age. He saw clearly that the Jews need to be destroyed, and we’re only beginning to see that we need to carry this work on.” (Adolf Hitler)

 

• “In defending myself against the Jews, I am acting for the Lord. The difference between the church and me is that I am finishing the job.” (Adolf Hitler)

 

 

Furthermore, it is said that in 1924 at a Christian gathering in Berlin, Hitler spoke to thousands and received a standing ovation when he made the following proclamation:

“I believe that today I am acting in accordance with the will of Almighty God as I announce the most important work that Christians could undertake and that is to be against the Jews and get rid of them once and for all.   (Phyllis Petty, “Christian Hatred and Persecution of the Jews,).     To be continued…
